HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?

While we welcome you to connect and play on the rp.me site, we will be doing a lot of our play live through AIM chats.  We have done a group similar to this off of rp.me, and it worked wonderfully.  We will have actual church meetings.  We will have actual runs to play out.  We will have meetings, conflicts, and fights actually played out in these chats.  These role-play events will be scheduled in advance so hopefully as many people as possible will be able to make it.  You may play one-on-one in instant messages, chats, messages or comments, but we definitely encourage as much group play as possible.  We are generally multi-paragraph to novella style players, however, in the case of large group scenes were play is needed to move quickly, we may request single paragraph play.  We do have activity requirements, but we will not be chasing down messages or comments on rp.me.  What do we require?  Keep reading.

​WHAT WE REQUIRE:

• You MUST have a RP.ME profile specifically created for your Samcro's Revenge character; in this profile, you must provide a link or the address of this site. You may have non-members as friends on your profile, but please make sure you are giving priority to our writers.

• You MUST have an AIM screen name/account; it does not have to be solely for our group, but it is a requirement that you have an AIM screen name to be used with our group.

• You MUST post one in-character journal entry OR post one role-play log to this site's forum function every week.  Logs can be one-on-one or group play via chat. Each character in the role-play scene will receive activity credit, so there is no need for multiple forum postings of the same log. No explicit sexual play should be posted, but violence, language, and other dark themes are allowed. You may and are encouraged to post more than one per week, but at least one is required.

• You MUST attend and participate in one role-play event each month.  You do not need to do anything other than show up and participate - the event host will submit a participation list along with posting the log to the site forum.

• We love in-character drama!  Out-of-character?  Not at all.  You stir up problems OOC, then you're out.  Simple as that.

• We have plenty of premade-characters for you to choose from.  Don't like a name?  We might be willing to change it.  Don't like the play-by?  We're willing to discuss a change.  Want to bring your own character?  That's always welcome, and we're happy to consider your idea.

• We will have NPCs in most positions of leadership as we start out.  You want your character to sit at the table and have a vote?  Work for it.  Show us your dedication and loyalty, and we'll replace the NPCs with played characters.  Hold a position of leadership and begin to slack on your play and responsibilities?  We'll take it from you and give it to someone who is motivated and active.

 

We reserve the right to change these requirements and guidelines as needed.  If we feel you aren't meeting these requirements, you will have one warning to kick it into gear.  If you don't?  You're out and your spot opened up again.
